Every once in a while a product comes along that not only amazes, but also truly delivers. The Omnia Oven allows you to bake anything you would in a traditional oven, right on your stovetop. This comes in handy anywhere you may not have access to an oven but have a stovetop burner, such as in RVs and boats.

Why You Need The Omnia Oven
When we bought our camper, we had to choose between an oven or the extra storage space. We made the difficult decision to forgo the oven for the cabinet space. However, the absence of an oven makes life a little difficult on the road. I cannot tell you how many charred and burnt bricks we have had to endure while attempting to make biscuits on our outdoor grill. Unfortunately, no matter what we had tried, blackened biscuits are what we end up with.
Though I enjoy cooking meals on a grill and over a fire, I miss fresh-baked muffins and delicious casseroles while camping. Therefore, staples in my family such as fresh-baked bread, brownies, and tater tot casserole were never an option at the campground….until now, thanks to the Omnia Oven.
What You Will Need
To make your experience with the Omnia Oven Optimal, below are some accessories that you will want to consider.
- Fitted Wire Baking Rack– Helpful for baking things such as rolls, and when using individual silicone baking cups for muffins or cupcakes.
2. Silicone Muffin Mold -Great for muffins, cupcakes, brownie bites, and even mini breakfast quiches!
3. Duo Silicone Baking Molds– You will need these handy inserts for casseroles, bread, and all of your favorite baked dishes.
4. Omnia Foil Dish (5 pack). These are perfect for mess-free cooking and clean-up, picnic take-a-longs, or make at home, and reheat in the Omnia Oven meals.
5. Omnia Oven Storage Bag– Great for carrying meals to picnics, gatherings, campsites, or simply storing your oven in your RV or Boat.
Does it Work?
I was ready to get baking and knew exactly what I needed to start with. My evil camping nemesis…burnt biscuits forced to be made on the grill or over the fire. No matter how hard we tried, we just never could get it right. If the Omnia Oven could right this biscuit injustice, I would be a forever fan.
So, I set up the Omnia Oven on the stovetop, placing the baking rack into position. Then, popped open the can of refrigerated biscuits, and placed each one directly onto the rack.
I put the cover on, turned the heat to low/medium, and waited with fingers crossed for approximately 20 minutes.
Biscuits
I could not wait to open the oven and see if it would in fact be possible to have edible biscuits while camping. To my delight when I took the cover off, this is what I found…
Perfectly baked biscuits, with perfectly browned tops! I could have shed a tear, to be honest, but suddenly had a great idea. Since I was home in my kitchen, I put a batch of biscuits in the traditional oven while my family was not watching. At dinner time, I presented both batches to see if anyone could tell the difference.
Guess what? They could not tell the difference. My experiment was a complete success, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to make these perfect biscuits on our next camping trip.
Muffins
Next, I knew I needed to try making muffins in this awesome contraption. Freshly baked muffins make a camping morning even better. Therefore, I whipped up a batch of muffin batter to test it out. I happened to have silicone muffin tins, which worked perfectly in the Omnia Oven.

I did not have the Omnia Muffin Insert, so I used silicone baking cups I had on hand.
Again, I could not wait to see how these muffins would turn out. Just like the biscuits, I was not disappointed! Perfectly baked, browned on the tops, warm and delicious.
If you don’t have muffin cups or the Omnia Muffin Insert handy, you can simply pour the batter into the silicone mold that comes with the oven. Then, simply cut into slices for a warm breakfast bread!

Casserole
Lastly, I had to try making a casserole. There is no easier meal to feed a family than a casserole, and camping meals need to be easy. In my excitement to try this out, I went straight to the cookbook for the Shepherd’s Pie recipe.
It was absolutely delicious and fed our family of 4 with some left over.
Another detail Omnia got right on is the clean-up. The silicone mold pops out and is a breeze to clean. No need to soak heavy casserole dishes, and no need to scrub tirelessly. This is another plus when camping or boating. No one wants to spend their time cleaning on vacation!
I am truly excited to bring this wonderful oven on our camping trips. The Omnia Oven is perfect not only for RV’s and boats but also for small apartments or hotel kitchenettes. I highly recommend adding this item to your RV or boat kitchen cookware!
Now, I’m off to go make some Omnia Oven Brownies!
