Not Your Average Pool

Of all of the campgrounds we have reviewed, this campground is the one we keep coming back to again and again. At Moose Hillock-NY, you will be wowed by the enormous zero-entry tropical-themed pool, complete with caves, waterfalls, colorful LED lighting, and two awesome water slides. You will find plenty of seating around the pool, so you don’t have to worry about fighting for a chair. Relax in your beach chair, as you listen to music playing over the surround sound system, and grab a bite to eat at the Beach Side Cafe.

Night Swim

A spectacular sight after dark, colorful LED lights illuminate the pool and waterfalls that descend from skull rock formations and caves.

Large, Private Wooded Sites

The sites at Moose Hillock-NY are large and spacious. If you like your privacy, you will love the large, wooded, secluded sites. All sites are level and large enough to accommodate any size set-up. Sites are full hook-up, and each has an 8-foot picnic table and stone fire pit.

Tip: Our favorite site is #738, but you really cannot go wrong with any of the spacious sites.

Cabins

No RV? No problem! You can enjoy everything this amazing resort has to offer by renting one of the fabulous cabin suites. Click HERE for more information on cabin rentals.

Recreation

Moose Hillock-NY has a full calendar of events during the season, ranging from live music and shows at the pavilion to organized sports events and family fun contests. There are basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and even an arcade.

Things to Do in the Area

Located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, the area offers many places to go hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming.

Moose Hillock-NY is approximately 10 miles from Lake George. What we loved most about Moose Hillock and the Lake George Area was how super dog-friendly it was. We loved taking our dog Jackson to The Lake George Dog Beach and were so pleased to come across a K-9 Water Station in Lake George Village. There you will also find places to eat outside that are dog friendly. We dined at King Neptune’s Pub on the Crow’s Nest Deck and it was perfect. Our waitress even brought Jackson a bowl of freshwater.
